He read the room and understood the vibe we were going for and was able to fill in the blanks in our provided playlists perfectly. We got so many compliments from guests regarding how good the music was, which made us really happy. Nick was also very flexible and accommodating as we had a lot of last-minute song choices (night before and day-of). He did everything to make sure we were on the same page with the song choices and song order, especially regarding the grand entrance and first dance songs. “I’m SO satisfied with our experience booking with George Street! I was drawn to them because I thought they were more reasonably priced compared to what some individual photographers are charging these days (we’re in the Seattle market), but I didn’t feel like the price advantage came at a sacrifice of quality. I loved the photos our photographer John C. took (who was AMAZING!) for both our engagement/portrait session and of course the photos on the day of the wedding. He did a fantastic job capturing all the beautiful memories we made that day, and we are so grateful. The booking process was really simple, too—I arranged a meeting with one of their sales reps (Amber) who did an excellent job explaining exactly how their company works, the packages available, how to choose your photographer and so on. Once we booked with them, we were given access to an online portal to put in all the necessary info that would be passed along to the photographer. One thing I would say is that because you are contracting with a company and not the individual photographer, you aren’t able to communicate directly with the photographer very often. You really are hiring them for photography only, so collaborating with them on the event timeline and other details is not really an option. Any questions you have generally need to be sent via the wedding coordinators at George Street, as you won’t even receive your photographer’s email or phone number until you actually meet them (it’s possible this is not the case for everyone, but just our experience). To be clear, this was NOT an issue for us at all, but just something to be aware of if a more hands-on photographer that can help with coordination and planning is really what you’re looking for.”

“The Hook Club was by far the coolest musicians I was able to find in terms of having an NYC night out vibe, and not a typical "wedding" vibe. We had a bass and guitar duo for our cocktail hour. They were super nice and awesome musicians. It started raining an hour into our cocktails so we had to move inside, and the bassist switched to playing a piano so that we could continue the music inside. Everyone was so impressed by how multi-talented they were!! Loved them and wish we had them play music for more of our reception. Dan, the founder, as well as the rest of their staff were incredibly organized and attentive throughout the planning process. Highly recommend!!”

We had him play acoustically for before our ceremony, during our ceremony, and at the cocktail hour. He even learned a song especially for the wedding party processional that we requested. He is so talented! He also wrote an original song for us to dance to at the wedding. Definitely a must! My fiancé hadn't heard it before the wedding so it made for a very special moment. JJ was great at reading the crowd on the dance floor during the reception. I had so many compliments about the music and how full the dance floor was all night long. Multiple people actually asked if we got married in a botanical garden—that's how incredible everything looked! When I first spoke with Mia - I knew she completely got my not very clear general idea because everything she talked about aligned with my vision: a wedding that felt like an explosion of spring flowers. Although I didn’t book her immediately due to a big move, I was lucky she was still available when I circled back a few months later. One of the things I loved most about working with Misha was how easy it was to communicate. I didn’t know the names of specific flowers, but I knew the 9 colors I wanted in the wedding —and Misha got it exactly right. When I saw my bouquet on the wedding day, I actually teared up. It was perfect. Every arrangement looked incredible. If I could, I’d have my whole house decorated in her flowers forever. It was everything I dreamed of.
